TERMS & CONDITIONS
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the data published on this website is correct, Brake Depot Limited or any employees will not be held responsible for any typographical errors.
These Terms and Conditions are between the buyer (registered customer) and us (Brake Depot Limited)
EBCBrakes.Biz is owned and operated by Brake Depot Limited; Brake Depot Limited is not operated by EBC Brakes or Freeman Automotive (UK) Limited.
(1) Ordering
: All orders must be placed using our online shopping cart system, telephone orders are not accepted. By using our website and placing your order you agree to our terms and conditions set herewith.
(a)If you are not sure you are ordering the correct products for your vehicle you should enter your vehicle details in the memo section of the order form, one our technicians will then check your order against the details you have entered. If you have ordered the incorrect items we will contact you and let you know and then amend your order as required.
(2) Payment
: All orders must be paid for in full before any item will be shipped unless prior arrangement has been made with Brake Depot. Cheque payments do not constitute payment until the same has been cleared by a clearing centre or our bank.
(3) Price
:
All parts listed include VAT at the standard rate of 17.5%; all EU sales will be subject to VAT at the standard rate and all transactions will be finalised in GBP sterling. If you are an EU registered business and you request a vat exemption invoice you will need to provide a faxed copy of your business registration certificate in order for us to provide goods with a Zero VAT rate. All goods despatched to an address within the UK will be subject to VAT at the standard rate.
(4) Delivery
: We will dispatch all orders within 24 hours (excluding weekends) providing we have them in stock.
(a) Items not currently available from regular stock will be placed on back-order.
(1) Where part of your order is back-ordered from our supplier we will despatch the items not backordered and then despatch the back-ordered item when stock is available at our expense (UK Mainland Only) for international orders we will retain all products ordered until stock is available unless you request otherwise.
(b) Items not currently in our stock will be ordered from our supplier and then despatched when stock arrives (normally next working day)
(5) Shipping
:
All orders shipped within the UK will be via a delivery carrier of our choice which is normally Parcel Force Worldwide. Where possible our shopping cart system will calculate the shipping costs but occasionally this can be inaccurate for international and offshore orders, if the shipping charge is incorrect we will contact you with a shipping quote before your order is processed. Alternatively you may call our office on 0845 519 3568 and request a shipping quote. All items shipped within the UK are insured by the carrier up to their standard amount (£150.00), if you require full shipping insurance please advice when placing your order.
(a) Brake Depot Ltd reserves the right not to ship to the desired shipping address unless it is the card registered address.
(6) International Shipping:
All international orders will only be shipped to the card registered address, if when in checkout the cart says 'there are no available shipping methods' please contact us for a shipping quote. Some international orders may require further address verification for security reasons; we will contact you if this is the case.
(7) Returns
:
(a) Brake Depot will accept returns providing; if any item part or in full is damaged or faulty (g)
(b) Correctly supplied products will not be accepted for refund or credit unless they are subject to (7a, 7c).
(c)
Consumer Rights, when buying online you have a 7 days cooling down period, which means you can return item/s to us for a refund providing the item/s have
not
been opened/used
, there are exemptions to this rule which are not included (7d).
(d) Special Order Items (call us to verify)
(e) Postage and Packaging is none refundable under normal circumstances, this is because the postage and packaging is a service and not a product.
(f) The customer will be liable for any return postage costs alternatively you may return the item/s in person to avoid postage costs.
(7g) Faulty or damaged items returned will be credited/replaced after inspection by authorised & technically qualified persons only, only the faulty or damaged item or items will be credited or replaced.
(h) Items returned for reasons other than (7a) must be in a condition fit for resale, if an item/s is returned which does not conform to these standards then the item may be rejected or subject to a re-stocking fee (subject to authorised persons discretion) you should contact us for authorisation prior to returning any item or items by

(8) Refusal of Orders:
Brake Depot limited reserves the right to refuse any order without providing justification.
(9) Force Majeure:
Brake Depot Ltd shall not be liable for failure to meet its obligations if such failure results from circumstances which could not have been contemplated and which are beyond the company's reasonable control.
